Do you have a theme that you go for when it comes to the first and last days of school? I have tried every year to get a picture of my kids in front of their school on the first day to serve as a milestone collage that I can give them when they graduate. Mostly, for me to look back and cry throughout the years because, to be honest, it went by too fast and I wasn't ready!

I just saw the cutest thing that would be even better for those awesome first and last days of school pictures.

I have been sitting here all morning trying to remember the specifics from each grade and I just can't. I feel like I should know all of that just from memory but I can't think of over half of their names right now. I remember all of my teachers from kindergarten to my senior year but I don't remember all of my kid's teachers.

This reversible chalkboard is pre-written on both sides so it will make a great prop for all of the kids, for all of the school years to come from pre-k through college, what a great idea!!



For the "First Day" side of the board, it has space for writing which year your child is in that year right in the banner towards the top of the board. On the left side, it says "Today is" with a space for the date to be written in. Under that there is cute text with a circle to write the child's age- "I am (circle) years old". On the right side of the board, it says: "My Teacher Is" with a blank spot under it. The last section on the right side says: "When I Grow Up I Want To Be" and that too has a blank for the child's idea to fit in.




For the "Last Day" side of the board is has a similar layout. At the top, it has "The Last Day Of" with the banner open for writing in it. On the left side is says "Today Is" and under that is the space for I Am (circle) years old". The right side is where the differences are. It says "This Year I Learned" and "This Summer I Want To" with blank spaces under each one for the child's ideas to fit in them.


This is a great product for parents and teachers. It could be used year after year for all of the kids in the family or in the classroom.
