This post was made possible by T.A. Barron, critically acclaimed author to over thirty books. Please show your appreciation by visiting his website and following on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

I just want to say, I know this time hasn't been easy for any of us and I appreciate all of you for taking the time to stop by, sending messages of encouragement, and asking for my input and recommendation. It means so much to me that I am a part of your lives like you are mine. It really closes the distance I've felt since I've been home.

Our everyday lives have changed with new routines. Playing roles in other people's lives that we would have never thought of before. Safety in this uncertain time is of most importance for everyone. That has limited what we can do for ourselves and everyone else. Have you heard that old saying "it's the little things that mean the most  ". It's hit home more no than ever before.

We have partnered with our new friend T.A. Barron to share what we have been doing to be an everyday hero and to show you all these awesome Heros Everyday Sweepstakes.

We all know about the doctors and nurses on the front lines of this pandemic. Not to mention all of the essential workers that have made getting through this possible. But there is more to it than that. We all have been doing our best to make our families happy and keeping them healthy.

What about other people? Have you been an everyday hero for someone else? We have been doing our best to be an everyday hero, every chance we have. Being an everyday hero is in all of us. It's the littlest simplest things that mean so much right now.

One thing I have noticed while we're out shopping that it isn't just masks and social distance that are new. People aren't communicating like they used to. Communication is so important for all people.

I just want to say, it's hard right now for everyone. Everyone is second-guessing how to do things to make them the best fit for themselves and their family. It's ok to be unsure. This uncertain time is exactly that, uncertain. So, let's all get these little things to make it a little better for everyone else.

Speak to others

Saying hi doesn't have to stop because we have a mask on. Our mouths and noses are covered and we are standing in our designated areas at the meat counter, say hi.

Eye contact

Eye contact is more important than ever. Most of us are living in a way that we have never done before. Having a connection with fellow humans is essential for

Keep in mind,  we don't all get to go places. We have elderly family and friends that can't go places and rely on delivery service for food and supplies. Since the shelter in n place order, visits have been put into n hold. When you have someone you want to go see and can't there are things you can do to make a difference in their day.

Help where you can

Hold the door, while standing being it. We all know that keeping a distance is the safest thing to do. If you see someone that might need a hand approaching the door, open it for them. You can even stand behind it so the social distance isn't broken. I've actually gotten pretty good at the no-handed foot hook on a door. I use my hip instead of my hand every chance possible!

Call and say hi

We are home way more than before and visiting isn't an option. So we make it a point to call every few days to make sure they know they aren't in this alone.

Send a package in the mail.

We haven't been traveling like we were before. We had plans to visit my sister in her new house and haven't been able to go.

It's the act of kindness that goes so far.
