Finding your own logo or a personal touch to your work is a good thing. I started being my own boss almost 6 years ago and I absolutely love it. It wasn't until later in my first year or the beginning of my second that I found my logo. It was an accident or a stumble upon an image that my sister sent to me while she was redesigning my website and I instantly had a connection with it. I knew right then that when my readers saw that little icon on their tab or email that they would know it was me talking to them.
Since then, I have had it made on my business cards, stationery, a coffee mug, and now personalized stickers. Why I wanted to have it made into stickers is because there are so many things that I take my own pictures of that I would like to be able to add a part of "me" into without being in the image itself. Let's be honest here, I don't want to fix my hair nails and make every single day to get in front of the camera. And when I send out a package to a client, I can't jump in the box to give a formal "Hello, thanks for working with me" handshake. But, I can add something personal to the package to let them know it is personal to me, just like my brand.
That's why I was so excited to work with Sira Print to make all of this happen. They have such a wide range of products available for every situation. When I received my order in the mail it had everything I ordered plus a sample of other options that I absolutely love. I think I might even like samples a little more than my order. Man, we all know how much I love silver and glitter and they sent me BOTH!
So the super simple steps in ordering the stickers are what made it a great experience for me. First of all, the customer service is amazing. I wasn't sure if I should go with a white or black background because I wasn't sure how the finished product would turn out. In my head, I was picturing myself ordering it wrong and it ends up looking like printed erasers that come from the Easter Bunny. So, thanks to their super-fast response team, I was given the description I needed to get all that I wanted out of this experience.
I wanted to make sure that my colors would stand out and make the impression I hoped they would. This is the one that we decided on and what makes it even better, it's the original. I love the design in the heart and the shapes that make the heart its shape. I have always had a thing for butterflies and hearts. This to me just tied it all together perfectly.
Picking the size was next. I went with the 3" x 3" size (thanks again to customer service).
I was so curious as to what it would look like done. Would it be a heart shape sticker with my heart on it? Again, the thought of an eraser from the Easter Bunny popped in my head. That's a good thing with positive vibes coming from me but in all seriousness, the one thing that I related this too.
So, once my package arrived, I ripped into it like I was 8 years old and Grama sent a package. Guess what... Equivalent to footie pajamas and a book, my stickers!!
