Hair Care Treatment For All Hair Types.

Hair is something we all can relate to. We all have some or none, too much, not enough, straight, curly, light, dark,  It seems like all of the chaos in life can be described as having a bad hair day. It does seem that way though. Starting from the beginning, once your hair decides to go rogue and won't do what you need it to it's just a bad hair day. It won't curl, stay in place, it fuzzes up, or lays flat- All of that!

Then as if that isn't enough, that's just the beginning of the day. Doesn't it feel like when your hair is unruly makes for "just one of THOSE days"? A heel breaks off your shoe, spilled Starbucks on your favorite top, get stuck in traffic, all before 8am. Oh, but that's not all!! A sneaky co-worker steals your lunch, you double booked your 2pm meeting, and your presentation got left at home- UGH!! The day is almost over and you can feel that 5 o'clock feeling coming on strong but then, you realize you left your keys in your car with the headlights on. Yay for roadside assistance and the four hour locksmith time slot! It doesn't have to be that way!

Having a good hair day brings out such a positive reaction. Hair looks great, your clothes fit perfectly, the car has more gas than you remembered, got a promotion, and twelve compliments. Yes!

All extreme situations aside, feeling good about your visual appearance makes for a more confident outlook. Researchers have consistently found a correlation between confidence and success. Confident people are perceived as being more attractive, they're better at sales and do well in front of the room. That being said, give yourself a good hair day- every day by having a good healthy foundation to work with.

My hair has been constantly dyed and treated for the past 25 years. It has definitely seen better days. Sometimes I can only pull it up, that's it. A fun bun to hide the fact that it's overworked. It acts like one more brush stroke will make it disintegrate into dust. Like it might just jump right out of the follicles and take off- It's had enough of my shenanigans. That's why I need to give it some love and treatments to keep it from hating me 100% of the time.

Elara Keratin Treatment for Dry Damaged Hair Repair is a great way to get years of damage, fixed.

This kit comes with a nourishing mask and oil treatment.

Oil Treatment

I love the look of the Elara Oil Treatment. This bottle reminds me of an antique-looking glass bottle that would be on my great grama Velma's vanity. She always had such a pretty set up with her large brass handled brush and handheld mirror. It was the kind that made us feel like little princesses when we got to play dress-up with all of her scarves and makeup. She made the elderly seem like the coolest people in the world. She had long ribbons hanging up with so many pairs of clip-on earrings that we would wear while we were wearing her shoes and writing out her old checkbooks. That may seem like a lot but it was all at one time. We would go play in gramas room, hit up the closet for the scarves and shoes, stop at the vanity to "get ready", and go to the far side of the room and play like we were garage saling and writing each other checks. At this age, I couldn't even write letters yet. This just might be my favorite bottle of Oil Treatment ever, we have bonded now.

It comes with a rubber stopper on the top to prevent spilling which I truly appreciate. So, I thought I was done with the trip down memory lane until I pulled the stopper out. It smells wonderful! It's such a soft scent. It's a lite oil, not heavy or sticky. It's enriched with Keratin, Date Extract, Argon Oil, and Jojoba Oil.

Oils are awesome because you can use them as a leave-in or prewash treatment. I like to use it as a prewash because my hair is so fine that it holds oil.

The hair oil can be applied to both dry and wet hair. Apply a small amount into the palms of your hands. Rub hands together to warm up the oil and apply to your hair by pressing onto hair ends and flyaways No extra time needed.

Oil Treatment Ingredients: Isohexadecane, Dimethicone, C13-15 Alkane, Parfum, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Olea Europaea Fruit Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Aqua, Hippophae Rhamnoides Oil, Glycerin, Punica Granatum, Extract, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Phoenix Dactylifera Fruit Extract, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Benzyl Alcohol, Citric Acid

Hair Mask

This hair mask comes in a tub and is super easy to use. I can keep it right on the shelf in the shower and it won't get damaged. The tub is wide but it fits in m hand good and doesn't get jammed when I try to open it, even with wet hands. That's something that I really appreciate.

The hair mask is another beautifully scented treatment. Every person I have asked their opinion on the scent all have said "it smells familiar" or "it smells like my mom". In every single person I asked, no one can put their finger on it. It just smells like good memories and happy feelings. I have reviews a few thousand products and I have never had this kind of positive input consecutively. Good job Elara for making the best universal scent for hair care products.

Hair masks are so awesome. You can use them as a soak in or wash out while you are in the shower. This is the recommended directions for this hair mask: After shampooing, apply the hydrating hair mask to damp hair. Focus mostly on the ends. Wait 5-7 minutes. Use this time to put a face mask on, soak in the tub, or scroll through your Instagram feed. Rinse out with cold water (because it closes your hair’s cuticle).

I do love treatments that fit into the time slot I have already available. It doesn't feel like I am going through some horrendous task to get the job done and I am left with amazing results.

A week ago, my hair was going through some things. Some SERIOUS things. It was looking so shabby and feeling so dry. It kept breaking off at half or less in lengths. I don't know how many times a literally cried because it just looked so bad and was so thin, there was nothing I could do about it.

For those of you that don't know, there is a huge difference between thin and fine. My fine hair was THINNING! I got sick a few months ago and ended up in bed for a few weeks. I was on 6 different antibiotics over an 11-week stretch. During that time my hair grew out and looked so unhealthy. It was falling out and just so bad. To be completely honest, I was at the point of shaving it off and starting over just to keep from having to deal with it falling out anymore.

Hair Mask Ingredients: Aqua, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Chloride, PerseaGratissima Oil, Dimethicone, Isopropyl Myristate, Cetrimonium Chloride, Parfum, Phenoxyethanol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Isopropyl Alcohol, Panthenol, Simmondsia Chinensis Seed oil, Ethylhexylglycerin, Citric Acid, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Phoenix Dactylifera Fruit Extract, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Propolis Extract, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Benzyl Alcohol.

This treatment was my first try at getting my hair to come back to normal and stop breaking off. I'm off the antibiotics and doing a lot better now. My hair feels so much healthier and stronger. It's shinier and a lot tamer. I don't have to pull it up to make it look better. I couldn't be happier with it.
