Having a new baby in the house is so exciting! All of the new things to do with decorating, baby proofing, and the one thing that I did so much of, baby watching! I would just sit and stare at the pure miracle of them. I would literally sit for what felt like a few minutes just watching them breathe. Then wonder where my day went and try to figure out how to cram a few hours of housework into 20 minutes. I was not great at time management at all! There had to be an easier way!
One thing that helps give parents and caregivers that little bit of peace is a baby monitor. I have reviewed several of them over the years and they are a must-have for the baby shower list. We just got a new one that I think you will love.
The camera is the size of a webcam and a monitor small enough to fit in your pocket it's perfect! I was really excited about it when I was reading about the features and capabilities but, not that it's here, I am even more impressed. This camera and monitor are so awesome.
What comes in the box is everything you will need to get the camera system up and going. There are no extra purchases needed which is great especially if this purchase is a gift for a baby shower.
One thing that I absolutely love about this system is it does not need wifi or Bluetooth to work. This is perfect for home use and traveling. It's so compact it fits right in the diaper bag and can plugin and use it where ever you are. I think this is a great camera for families at home and on the road.
I just love this camera. It's something that only needed for new babies. This is a great camera to have in the nursery all the way up to a toddler's room or even the playroom. You can add up to four cameras to the monitor so you aren't limited to just one. I am thinking you will like the features just as much as I do.
The 4.3 inch color diagonal screen is perfect for viewing. It's close to the average size of a cell phone screen so it's comfortable on your eyes and the clarity is amazing. The digital zoom feature is so nice for those close-ups that you can't get enough of.
Room Temperature display is something I have not seen in any of the other cameras that I've reviewed and this is so cool! I always worried if the baby's room was warm enough or too warm. With the temp display, you can see it immediately with no guessing. You can set your own high and low setting and an alarm will sound on the monitor if those temps are reached.
Feeding Timer. This one is very nice, especially when your baby is new and you are tired! Your little bundle needs to be fed around the clock but, don't worry, little by little the time will grow just like your baby. This is also a great feature if you have to give meds at a certain time.
The automatic infrared night vision adjusts with the light and leaves a perfectly clear view of your baby, day or night.
Two Way Communication is wonderful. When your baby is fussy you can talk so your voice is heard in their room. It's nice to hear them but it's even better to be able to communicate back. It lets them know they are not alone and mommy and daddy are on the way.
Built-in lullabies are great for soothing too. I little bit of music to help lull the baby to sleep is just so sweet.
Motion Detection is set to put out an alarm when enabled. The monitor will make an alarm sound if there is movement detected.
