Dating In Jacksonville- Day Or Night, Find The Perfect Place

How are you spending your holidays this season? No matter where you are or what you have going on, single, is not the way to go about it. Summer is over and all that hot and fast stuff can take the back seat while we settle in for more permanent and meaningful things. So, find someone to spend those long evenings with before your mom, aunt, sister, or best friend starts setting you up on blind dates and "accidental" run-ins.

There are so many fun things to do that make Jacksonville a great place to be on the dating scene so I want to share some great date ideas with you.

Beaches

Take a stroll on one of the many beautiful beaches. No matter the time of year, the majestic sights of the water as it flows right into the sky is breathtaking and can definitely help spark those sweet romantic feelings. What is great about Jacksonville is the weather. The cooler months are what I imagine to be the best temps ever. Take February for example. A high of 72 and a low of 55. Doesn't that sound absolutely perfect! I have a whole wardrobe that would fit in perfectly with that.

Here are a few beaches that would be so romantic for a nice walk and a picnic lunch or dinner, maybe a little bonfire and a beer. Who knows! Just give it a try!!

Jacksonville Beach: Stroll along the nearly quarter-mile-long Jacksonville Beach Fishing Pier, or enjoy the salty air while dining at the waterside cafes.
Neptune Beach: This suburban stretch speaks to the beach bum who wants to relax with a summer read all day, and catch an epic sunset at night.
Ponte Vedra: Calling all beachcombers and golfers! Located just outside Jacksonville in St. Johns County, this coastal locale is known for its massive dunes and coveted golf courses.
Atlantic Beach: Just north of Neptune Beach, visitors from near and far flock to this shore to bike, surf, swim, and simply soak up the sun.
Little Talbot Island State Park: Get away from all of the touristy hubbub at this idyllic barrier island, where explorers can birdwatch, sunbathe on the white sand beach, marvel at the driftwood sculptures of Boneyard Beach, hike, and even camp overnight.

Go Explore

There is nothing like a great adventure. We have been so cooped up this year with everything going on that I think we have just about mastered how to live all over again. As long as you pace yourself, and don't get in a big hurry, keep your distances, and keep our groups to a minimum, dating in Jacksonville can be super successful. Go on great adventures. Check out these fun ideas for exploring all around Jacksonville Florida.

  • Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens
  • Fort Clinch State Park
  • Riverside Arts Market
  • Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens
  • The Jax Ale Trail (22 Breweries and counting!!)

Meet New People

It's not always easy to find new people to hang out with and go on all of these amazing adventures with. Being cautious is a top priority in the age of Corona so, as always, be safe, and don't worry, you can check out the Jacksonville Personals to get to know other people looking to meet singles too.

Plan an Overnight Trip

Taking a little time off for grown-up fun is a great thing to do no matter where you live. Even people that live right in Jacksonville can still take a night out to enjoy it like a tourist. Although I will always recommend the beaches for the amazing view and privacy, there are so many more things to check out. What is so great about Jacksonville is that it's perfect for deciding how much activity you want to use. Take a slow leisurely evening or a fast-paced adventure, Jacksonville has it all.

Dining at one of the many restaurants that offer outside dining
Go out for ice cream
Hit up the bar
Go to the park and take a stroll
Play a round of Mini-Golf

No matter what you have going on, take the time to enjoy some great company and make memories!
