There are so many reasons to start writing. Starting way back when I was in middle school I used writing as a way to get all of those raging emotions out yay for teenaged angst. As I got older, my meaningful writing was replaced with working, usually more than one job, and my beautiful babies. I always thought of great things to write about or what I thought would be great things at least but, never had the time to pick up a pen and paper to get it out. That's super sad and I lost so many great memories by just not having the time.
To be completely honest, I never thought I would find the time to write again. But, as you can see, I have found my love again in writing this blog (and I started another one :)). I love sharing my thoughts with all of you and being a part of your daily lives. With the new blog, I felt it was time to start getting more personal with myself. I am still in the building stage and can't wait to debut it, I hope you can take the time to visit that site too once in a while, you'll definitely see where my lifelong humor traits come from.

For a writer, there's no better gift than something to write on. I just got an early Christmas present from Wanderings and I love it so much! It's definitely more special than something to write on too! This Refillable Leather Travelers Notebook is absolutely perfect to bring with me everywhere I go and keep up with my thoughts. I love that it's refillable!
In the package, there was a little card that says "and so the adventure begins..." That is simple, beautiful, and true for every empty notebook. The pages are unlined and fountain pen ready. The author of this notebook can use it for dreaming or drawing, sketching, or writing. I am turning 40 in a few months, a whole new decade to explore, I can't wait to get started!
The notebook has such a vintage look to it. I think that's why I like it so much. It looks like something that I would have found in my grandparent's attic. It's has a leather exterior with strap closure and bound by a rope. I can't get over how much detail is on it even though it's so simple at the same time. It's not something I would expect to see every day. The leather is soft and smooth to the touch and also flexible and sturdy. There is a compass rose on the front right bottom corner. It's just a beautiful piece.
The page size is perfect for journaling or drawing. The blank inserts are 8.5x4.5in.
I can see so many plans for this notebook already. Since it's refillable and has sections, they are all possible. I would love to write pages of inspiration for my daughters. Sharing my adventures, hopes, and dreams, with them. I hope they will be inspired to take the first steps into their own endeavors full of ambition and intention.
Check out Wanderings on their website and social media pages to see what all they are offering. They have a Black Friday Sale running through until Dec 4th.
