Remote learning... Working from home... Not enough caffeine to glue me together for the day... There are so many things to do that I am giving in by 9am to mindless scrolling on social media so I "can remember what it is that I was supposed to be doing". It's not helping me at all. I end up with a whole page of saved posts that I can come back to later when I'm all caught up for the day, three or four spurts of tears over some sappy stuff that reminded me of something else, and still, no organization.
The first step is admitting there is a problem, right?
I had the opportunity to work with 1Thrive to get a wall organizer to help me pull it (and me) back together. They have no idea how much I need them in my life. I have had so many organizers throughout my days and none of them have seemed to pull me in on a permanent level. I don't know how many planners I have full of everyone in the whole family's birthdays, at least one week FULL of assignments due, maybe ( if I'm lucky) a month's worth of financial planning, and absolutely nothing else. It's like after the birthdays and anniversaries, that I already remember, what else is there to remember?
So, why not something a little more deliberate? Something that I don't have to take out of my purse or filing cabinet when I need to look for a reminder. Something that I can look at and like looking at. So, I chose Henry, the wall organizer for everything we have to organize.

What's special about The Henry?
I chose the Henry Wall Organizing System because of its size and features. Right now, there are only three of us in the house but, we still have a lot going on. With weekly appointments, remote learning, nurse visits, house chores, and the crazy to-do list that never gets done, The Henry needed a home and home needed The Henry!
When I was browsing the 1Thrive site, I noticed that there were 2 basic frame sizes of the wall organizer systems. One was longer while the other was more widespread. For the space that I want to hang my wall organizer system, I wanted the long model vs the wide model.

The Henry is our family's perfect assistant. This might sound funny to other people but since we have been home for the pandemic, I can't even keep up with the days of the week anymore. I'm pretty sure that's why my organization is off.
I love that each part of it can be placed where I want it. The metal frame is a solid unit that has bars to hold the individual sections and the cups on. It is so easy to customize it to be what I need.
Each section of the organizer, chalkboard, whiteboard, and corkboard has hooks on the back to hang and securely hold them in place on the frame. There are no tools needed to assemble the organizer. It does come with the screws to mount it on the wall. It comes with screws and anchors. It's very lightweight, I only used the 2 screws and no anchors to hang mine, with our walls, anything more would have been too much. I do like the minimal effort that it takes to assemble and hang.
I love this whole system. I wouldn't change anything about it. It's the perfect size to write comfortably and be seen from every point in the room. There are no questions or excuses when it comes to scheduling and tasks. The chalk markers that come with the system write so smoothly and they wipe off cleanly with water. It's a no-mess replacement to a thousand post-it notes, calendars, and pocket planners that always get lost.
