Under The Barnyard Light YouTube Channel Is Now Live

Reading to kids is so important and so much fun. It's a great way to help kids learn and develop their imagination. There is nothing like a good story to make memories with kids. When I was little, my mom would often take us to the library to check out books. I loved the books that came with a cassette tape so I could listen to the book being read to me. My favorite was the Rainbow Bright collection. This was the best way for me to learn to read. I would listen to them over and over and sound out the words along with the tape.

Yes, I was invented before Youtube. Wow, that's a tough one to admit. Now that I am a mom (almost a grandma now), the convenience is at the tip of my fingers with any smart device and computer I have. We can watch videos of everything right on Youtube.

Just the other day I learned about a new Youtube channel that the author of Under The Barnyard Light, Carla Crane Osbourne, reads kid's books and uses the ranch setting to engage with the audience. It's so cute! This is such a great way to introduce reading and get kids excited about doing it. What makes this so special is that it's not just for kids that are big enough to read along but also for the kid's age that is just starting to explore reading and just enjoy listening.

The author, Carla also won the Silver Award for the 3rd Annual IBPA Benjamin Franklin Award for the Children’s Book category.  Check it out here on the Press Release.

If you are wondering about the page, this is the "About" information.

Welcome to Gona's Reading Ranch! Join me, Carla Crane Osborne, on the farm to dive into a world of imagination, learning, and fun. Here on the Ranch, kids can join to listen and read along with me as we immerse ourselves in the creative world of storytelling.
One of the stories I read is my very own book, Under the Barnyard Light which is available now on Amazon and on the shelves at The Well-Read Moose in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho!
I hope my books foster a love of reading and make children feel like they're at a family farm going on their own adventures.

These videos are great because they are long enough to be entertaining without being so long that kids lose interest. Check out the channel and share them with your favorite story lovers. So far the books she has read aloud are The Ugly Duckling By Hans Christian AndersenFarm Babies by Charles Reasoner, and the video above- Under the Barnyard Light- Stories For Kids.

Check out the page and watch a few videos, you will love seeing the story pages as they are read.
