Who needs to go on a trip to go camping, enjoy a marshmallow roast, or chill out in a hammock? Not us! We can go right outside and enjoy the nature.
We just got the coolest hammock from PlayWild. It's a double hammock at that! This hammock isn't like other hammocks, it's made with quality material and is made to stand the weather and rugged use with a 500lb weight limit.
Starting off, I have to say on a personal note, I am a little disappointed. This is way better quality than I was expecting. No one flipped themselves out of it. I had my camera ready acting like I wasn't recording and everything. I REALLY thought for sure grampy or Cass would take it for a spin. Me and Aron even laid in bed with some pillow talk last night giggling how long it would take to roll it and see who would be able to hang on the longest. Well, we both lost. No one flipped out of it, it has too good of a setup. I was really betting on Cass for that one.
Don't get me wrong, I am very happy it's made so well but I could have really used a good laugh! I am still scarred from the hammock I flipped with I was pregnant with my first daughter. It was like fighting a canoe on white water rapids with no splash at the end, just a thud, and bruised pride.
The Play Wild Double Hammock is so lightweight and surprisingly sturdy. It went up so fast! I thought grampy was coming in for tools or something to hang it with and it was already hung and he had been in it to test it out.

It comes with the double hammock, the loop for around the tree plus an additional 16 loop strap for the perfect adjustment. It comes with the carabineers to secure the hammock to the strap and suspend it from the tree. What's really cool is the pocket on the hammock that doubles as a storage compartment.
The hammock itself is very smooth and lightweight. I checked out their website for the specifics to share with you because it didn't seem possible that I was guessing how lightweight it really is. The whole thing only weighs 1.8lbs including straps, carabiners, hammock, and stuff sack. That's barely even enough to make a difference in your backpack. It's made from triple interlocking stitched 70 denier 210 parachute nylon taffeta. The dimensions are 10x6.

We have it hanging in our side yard. This is perfect for some peace and quiet. It's a whole new world while staying close enough to home to suck up the wifi, not worry if we forgot something at home, and not have to pack/unpack the car. That is just about as close to perfect as it gets for us.
