For the most part, we are ready. It happens so frequently here, it's not even a big deal.
We know to keep our phones charged, have the stuff to occupy our time, and keep back up light sources that don't require electricity. For us, we look at it like having everything ready to go camping but, at home.

What comes in the box?
Everything you need to charge and use the Tubicen Cordless Portable Table Lamp. It's charged with a C-type cable that is included. You can plug it into any USB power adapter to charge it. I plugged it into the power strip. With a USB outlet adapter, you can plug it right into the wall or other outlet source.

I love this lamp! There is no switch to track down. Tunecin really thought of everything! I mean, you will be using the lamp in the dark, with the dimmer switch right on top, no need to be feeling around the surface of the lamp for the on/off switch.
The dimming switch is at the top of the shade. It's touch-activated so there's no fumbling around looking for a switch. One tap turns it on and activates the lowest setting. It has 4 light strengths altogether. Each setting is a little brighter. This is perfect for romantic low lighting all the way up to bright (154 lumens) lighting. It's super easy to operate too. Tap and go!

I love the design of the lamp. It's a lantern-style table lamp with a beautiful finish. It's available in brass, nickel, and white. I have the brass base lamp. The white and brass finish both offer a brass (gold colored) handle and the nickel handle is a silver color base and handle. All models have a white shade that softens the light and makes it illuminate instead of point at a specific area like a flashlight.
In total, it's 8.7" high and 4.5" wide. It will easily hang on a hook or sit on a table. It's great for a nightstand.

Why I love this lamp
There are so many reasons that I love this lamp. Its size, weight, and portability are absolutely perfect. We do have many power outages that we can't explain so it's very convenient for that but, we do use it every night. Night-time potty runs can be very disturbing to Aron. He is a very light sleeper, he doesn't have a problem falling asleep but he can't stay asleep and every little noise wakes him up. When I get up to go potty, I wake him up every time- Every Single Time! It's not because I'm noisy, it's because of the light. The night light we have is very dim and I can't see well enough with it so when I get to the bathroom, I turn the light on and he wakes up. I am scared of the dark and of spiders so, the light is coming on.
By using the Tubicen table lamp, I can carry the light with me and there is no bright flash of light to blind him with. It's a win-win for everyone! I keep it on my bed table and carry it with me the whole way.
