One of the best parts of Christmas here in the Grove's home is Christmas stockings. They are all filled with goodies that only Santa can get away with giving. There is no telling what might be in there. Of course, they have the traditional goodies like the black foil-wrapped coal, chocolate Santa's, socks, peanut butter cups, pens, fingernail polish, and all kinds of stuff. It's just as much of a surprise to me as it is the kids every year.
Another thing that lands in the stockings every single year that has been a tradition in our family for 20 years (omg 20 years!) is a holiday stuffed animal. All of our kids, nieces, and nephews, and this year, our grandson, will get a holiday-themed stuffed animal in their stocking.
Usually, it's spontaneous and the little plush snuggle buddies pop out at us while we are shopping. We will see the perfect one for the person getting the stocking. This year, we had a surprise from our friends over at Ty and they sent us their holiday collection and you will want them too!
