Our daughter has a friend that had a litter of kittens said they were ready to go. Since we are all on quarantine we discussed it and while taking proper precautions, we said YES. It turned out that little miss Sophia was younger than we were told. She was estimated at 3 weeks. It took the whole family to care for her which was really awesome. She was on every few hours feedings, finding the litter box, putting her in the litter box because she was so small, transitioning from milk to milky warmed wet kitten food to kitten chow with milk replacer. It has been an awesome adventure. 

She's about 8 weeks now and is absolutely crazy. She is definitely in her rough housing stage and finding her personality. She is learning to hide and pounce. There are no safe toes in this house, she will find and attack them. Bare ankles are another active target, moving ankles are even better, fast running ankles are the BEST!  

She is blending in great with our other 4 legged family members. Jacky a 6-year-old Pit, Pudge a 5-year-old Boston Terrier, Lucky a 4-year-old Lab mix, Hairy a 3-year-old fat cat, and Scrappy a 1-year-old chihuahua. I didn't realize all of our little guys were stair steps until now!

Since we got the package from Litterbox.com we have had 2 more additions to the family. Little Mary and Buddy were orphaned at almost a week old. The day after we got them home with us, the next day we brought them to the vet and got them all checked out. They were super tiny! Mary was then 4oz and Buddy was 6oz. A little humor, we found out they were born about 4/20/20. That's where they got their names.

After 3 weeks of nonstop bottles, litter box training, kitten pacifiers, and barely any sleep, they are the size of kittens!! At their last checkup (last week) they weighed in at Mary 9.8oz and Buddy 13oz. They play constantly and we love them so much. You can see pictures and videos on Instagram.
