A Blanket Ladder For The Nursery Is A Unique Baby Shower Gift

We have been searching high and low for great baby shower gift ideas for this year's Womb to Walking baby shower guide. I know I keep saying it but, I just have to, I am so excited! It's to celebrate the arrival of our very first grandchild, Easton. I just can't get over how amazing all of this is. I remember what it was like preparing for our babies when they were babies and now, we get to help with this little peanut! Short Birds Nursery sent over their Baby Blanket Ladder and I can't say enough about it.

There is so much to do and so little time left! He is now 28 weeks in the making and has a whole family (a big family) waiting to meet him! It's such a blessing! I have a feeling that you guys are going to be here to celebrate all of the milestones right along with us!

We just got one of the coolest nursery accessories I have ever seen! It's a blanket ladder. This is a first of its kind and a truly amazing baby shower gift. It's perfect! It has the sweetest design on it. The moon, stars, sunshine, and rainbows. It has print on both sides that are different.

Decorating a nursery is such a special time. It's where you will bond over snuggles, and watch your baby sleep and grow. So of course, you'll want it to be unique as your baby will be. The most important things are organization and functionality. With the blanket ladder so handy, the blankets will be in reach every time you need one. And it is just so cute!

I love this design. It's simple and adorable!

It's made to be in a nursery with its adorable print on it. It's made out of pinewood to give it a smooth surface. It's has a soft smooth finish to save you from splinters and snags. It has non-slip pads on the feet and safety straps to keep it from sliding or tipping over.

It's available in 2 shades of gray, light gray and dark gray.

Sweetest Words...

Left Side:

"twinkle twinkle little star, do you know how loved you are" with a moon and stars design.

Right Side:

"you are my sunshine my only sunshine, you make me happy all of the time" with a sun and rainbow design.

Where do I put a wall ladder?

Finding the perfect place far a ladder can be tricky but, don't worry, it's safe! It would look perfect in a corner or leaned against a flat wall. The size is just right too. The total measurements are: height: 5'3, width: 1.5" depth: 3". The secure strap keeps it from tipping over.

How handy is a blanket ladder anyway? To be able to have the baby's blankets, swaddles, and more. It's so convenient to have the blankets on the ladder instead of crammed into a drawer or closet. No musty smells from stored blankets when they are hanging on the ladder.

You can find this baby blanket ladder on Amazon in 2 shades of grey on Amazon.

What to expect...

Assembly is so easy. I took pictures to show you guys firsthand how to do it :) Opening the package, everything is wrapped and tucked in nice and neat to prevent damage during shipping. The Blanket Ladder comes with all of the hardware needed to put it together securely and fasten it to the wall. I didn't fasten it to the wall because I don't have a nursery here. Once it is all installed in the nursery I will be sharing it on Instagram.

The supplies came with an extra piece- just in case. I love that. I am the person that will drop something into a vent or somewhere unfindable. The Allen wrench is provided with the hardware.

Step 1- Put the sides together and add the screws with the Allen wrench provided in the hardware set.

Step 2, add in the screws- Have kitty make sure you are doing a good job. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to tighten down the screws.

Step 3, add in anchors. The arrow should be facing the hole that the screws will come in.

Step 4 Put together the screws and locks- twist with a Phillips head screwdriver.
