Something I absolutely love, that I know will make their lives easier and prevent accidents and they look really cool is No-Tie Shoelaces. These are great for everyone, not just kids. My husband is disabled and has issues with his shoes.
His prosthetic shoes have laces already but the no-tie version is so much easier for us. I reviewed the i-lock laces and they are really cool. Their coiled up ends keep them from hanging down under the shoes.

Another meltdown point for the kids that can absolutely "ruin their lives" is stained or frayed laces. I have tried to make do with the laces they have so many times but they are never quite right. Have you ever had to replace specialty shoelaces? We found a great place for Yeezy Shoelaces.
