Tylenol #HowWeFamily #IC #sponsored

I have received information from the makers of TYLENOL®. The opinions stated are my own. This is a sponsored post.

I am so happy to be a part of the #HowWeFamily campaign with Tylenol. Tylenol has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My grandmothers used it with my parents, we use it with our children. 3 generations so far have all depended on the amazing qualities of Tylenol.

To celebrate all families, Tylenol brand has created #HowWeFamily that believes family is not who you love but how. That is so important to us to love who you love and be happy. I don't care if my child's spouse is man, woman, black, white, purple, green, or pink, small or tall; all I want is for them to feel as much love as they give.

What is your favorite love story? Who has made the biggest impression in your life? My favorite love story is for Aron and me. We lived in the same neighborhood as kids, he went to school with my sister I went to school with his brother, we didn't even meet, not once.

I moved to NC when I was 12 and never knew then that I was moving away from my soulmate.

I married and had my first child. I moved back to IL  in my 20's and worked at a truck stop (A.K.A. Rat Trap) I didn't know it then, that I worked with his sister-in-law and her mom. I met his whole family. We never met, not once.

I divorced and moved back to NC away from him again. Again, not knowing that my true love was living life the same way; married with children of his own.

I remarried and had some hardships and moved back to live with my grand parents so I could get back on my feet. I did. All was well, I still didn't know him yet.

I moved into a tiny apartment close to my daughters school in the town over from my grandparents, I didn't know that that year would change my life forever. The neighbor on one side was Aron's father. My girls and I made him cookies and treat bags on the holidays. My neighbor on the other side was his sister-in-laws mother, the one I worked with all those years ago at the Rat. I lived there for quite awhile before I realized it was her.

I was diagnosed with cancer when I was 26. Scared, lonely, and a single mother of 2 beautiful little girls. Then it happened....

I went to the laundry mat one day. Still in pretty rough shape from the surgery. Red penguin pajama pants and a t-shirt. Trying to get done with my chores so I could go home and rest. I saw him. I fell in love with him that second. He was there with his brother and niece.

I still didn't talk to him until the neighbor across the street was having a house warming party a few weeks later. It was his other brother. We talked into the night.

A few months later I was driving and got a call, It was him!!!  I didn't even know he had my number! We have been a family since my youngest daughter called him DaDa and we left, quickly. He called me later and asked why we left.  I went back, we were a family. I love him with all of me. I couldn't imagine my life without him. It took 26 years of adventures to bring me to him, I wouldn't have it any other way.

This is our 7th year together. He has since adopted my youngest daughter and all of us together are a family. Thanks you so much #HowWeFamily for letting me share my story with you :)

  3. Tylenol get's rid of pain(s) and brings relief! I come from a family line that has needed to use Tylenol since childhood to the present time and I have to continue taking it to help ease that of life's present circumstances! That story is touching and inspiring - I was teased throughout my life (into the present) but I hope all of you have a magical holiday!

  7. My favorite love story is how I met my husband. That would be much too long to go into here, but let it be said that we are approaching 30 years.

  8. Wow, quite the path to your soulmate :) Tylenol is part of my family. I get really bad migraines and without Tylenol I would miss out on family time a lot.

  9. Tylenol is in our house. When my grandson's girlfriend was pregnant she would get headaches and Tylenol was all she could take. Your story was great and so heart warming. I married my soul mate but after 34 years he passed away.

  10. Isn't it how funny that you were so close to each other's lives for years, but didn't actually meet until the time was right? It was similar with my husband and I and we've been married for 37 years.

  11. That's a sweet story, you never know what or who is just around the corner.

As for Tylenol, personally I am less than impressed with my own experiences and always opt for ibuprofen. I feel like it just doesn't work for me! I have no idea why.

  19. Such a sweet story. I met my husband a couple days before I turned 20 in 2010. I found out we were both born in the same town in New Jersey, 6 years apart. He was born in 1984 and I believe he moved here to North Carolina when he was about 2.5 years old. I was born in NJ in 1990, and moved here to NC in 1998. We met in Raleigh, NC, in 2010. His grandparent's house was next door to my old elementary school. You can see it from the school. Some of his family when to school with my family. It's a small world! All that is a huge reason I believe in fate. We were meant to be together.

  20. Tynenol is the only thing I take for aches and pains. Ibuprophin is not good for you in large doses.

  30. Aww, so sweet! I met my boyfriend of almost two years now through my brother because they were friends from school. I had pretty much given up on meeting someone even though everyone told me love would find me when I least expected it, I just couldn't understand how it happened like that. But it's true! If you're patient, it really does happen!
