National Nutrition Month is an awesome thing. Finding healthier ways to fed our families is a goal that all parents and care givers go through every day. Lets celebrate together!
I am working with a few companies to help bring awareness to healthier eating and healthier kids. It's nice to know that so many people are so passionate about it.
Do you remember Sesame Street? I'm sure you do. I grew up with the whole gang. Big bird and Oscar the Grouch, and Snuffelupagus (not sure on the correct spelling) They were all in my daily conversations for years. No one knows this better than my mom and sister Heather. I'm pretty sure I learned to read with these guys. I know I learned to count with The Count 12~ah ~ah ~ahhhh.
I still remember how to make raisins from the little girl cartoon that had grapes and left them outside. Man, That puts a smile on my face. I love thinking about that. That was the best time in my life. And the little food game that was like a game show. Just by sitting and thinking, so many amazing memories just filled my head.
Earth's Best Organic Vegi Crackers Sweet Potatoes, Broccoli and Carrots has some really awesome cookies and crackers that I can't wait to tell you about. These are a great source of nutrients for our little guys. Also 6 grams of protein per serving. That's great fuel to carry them over to the next meal. I love great snacks!
Organic Letter of The Day Cookies Oatmeal Cinnamon- (pictured Vanilla) are a fun sweet snack that has the alphabet on them. How much fun is that. They are really good too. They really do taste just lie a cookie. It's a sweet cookie with good stuff in it.
These boxes have games on the back that are so much fun for kids to play. Making your arms and legs into a letter and counting the cookies on the box. Matching the colors to the vegetables is a great idea. I did that when my girls were little, it really helped them learn their colors and get excited about what they were eating.
These snack are crunchy and small. Perfect for little hands to grab and go. If they are sitting in a high chair or walking around, they re the perfect snacks for them to have.
Another great snack for kids, which I have tried and I even like it! Ella's Kitchen. They have so many great options for little guys and their snacks. I got to review bananas + raisins nibbly fingers
These are really good. They are small and easy for small hands to hold. I have been giving these to all of the kids in the family and maybe twice to myself, they are really good.
What is your Go-To snack for the kiddos?
