Hi Guys. I want to tell you...
I am 34, I will be 35 in 2 weeks. I am not sad or scared. A few of my friends hit every birthday with a depressing plunge because we are not 20 anymore. ~HA~ Firm skin and full hair~ My wisdom is bolder than you!!
I am very happy with my age. I want to grasp it and feel my best! I want to show the world that just because I am not in my 20's, don't count me out. I am a beautiful woman and I will continue to be. My age number will not impact my personality or my behavior.
I will continue to play with the kids, loudly. I will not turn over my sheer tops, I will cover the grey, even if I am the only one I am kidding. I will get more tattoos, try new things, and I am going to enjoy this life. It's the only one I have.
The only sad part I find in any of it is, that it will not last forever. That no matter how much I love, give, help, and share, one day, I will just be a photograph in someone else's box of memories.
So, Happy Birthday to Me! Lets make the most of it. Lets do what we can while we can.
I know along with the age comes new surprises just like the ones I notices a few days ago. DARK SPOTS!!! Hair that's not as "luxurious" as it once was, and a few saggier things I will save for another post. :)
I have always had freckles so I have never really paid attention to any extra spots on my face. That is until the other day. We were in the car on our way to an appointment when I just caught a glimpse of my face. Small, just a little bit darker than my skin, AGE SPOTS!
I seriously pulled into a parking lot so I could put full attention on these foreign, unwelcome, rights of passage. I was not happy but, it's not the end of the world. There is help and hope. I just need to act diligently.
I found refuge in a bottle of YEOUTH Hyaluronic Acid. This is some awesome stuff. It's really easy to use and has some dependable ingredients that make me feel more confident in myself.
Here are the key points in how it works. It came in the pamphlet in the box. It's a reall nice box set by the way. Perfect for a gift.
Moisture-Attracting Hyaluronic Acid.
Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally occurring compound in your skin. It attracts water molecules, absorbing and holding moisture. Hyaluronic Acid holds up to 1,000 times it's weight in water. It Plumps and evens out crevices, providing supple smooth, skin.
Collagen-Boosting Tripeptide-31
Powerful retinoic acid-like Tripeptide-31 reverses age related skin changes such as wrinkles, roughness, and age spots. Tripeptide-31 is a clinically proven to increase skin collagen synthesis.
Skin Strengthening Vitamin C
Free Radicals damage skin collagen, causing dryness and wrinkles. The antioxidants quality of Vitamin C is known to slow free radicals caused by sun exposure.
This is a really nice serum. Some thins I really like this skin care treatment is that it's easy to use and only adds about 30 seconds onto my daily routine.
It's a thick serum consistency and a little bit goes a long way. A very small amount covers the whole face. It dries almost instantly. It goes right on a clean dry face and rubs right in. It's really soothing.
My hair is a whole different story. I have naturally thin hair. But lately, it's thin and flat. I have tried different methods of styling to keep it looking healthy.
I have found a really awesome 2 in 1 Volume/Straightener to help with that.
This is so neat. I have never seen one just like this one before. This is a brush on the barrel type of curling iron with the flat iron in the center.
I am not a professional by far but this is something I can totally use. It heats up really fast and holds the heat. It's not like a few I have had in the past that get hot and as soon as it touches hair, it cools off or looses it's heat as soon as it's on the second or third stroke.
I am here to tell you from experience, Fuzz Head on half of your head super sucks. I am the master of the uneven hair. With JoJo's Secret, I can get evenly pretty hair that is manageable and doesn't leave me with more stress than I started with.
I know it might sound silly but when I get going on my hair, I have visions of beautiful locks flowing from my head. Rarely does that happen. My usual hair styling moment USUALLY ends with my hair in a bun or at the least a pony tail.
I received these for free in exchange of an honest, unbiased review. If you have any questions about these products or would like to find out how to see your awesome products here on Amy & Aron's Real Life Reviews, please feel free email us directly at [email protected]

ReplyDeleteWishing you a very Happy Birthday. I remember turning 35. That was 29 years ago. I don't know where the time went. Thank you for sharing these products to help us along. God Bless
ReplyDeleteI know exactly how you feel. I turned 36 in December and bam! Got my first dark spot. I've read so many posts about dark spots and had no idea what they were talking about. It's just a small one just below my eye but it's a sign of things to come! I always said I would age gracefully and fully accept it but that was easy to say when I had no wrinkles and firm skin!
ReplyDeleteI love your attitude!! That YEOUTH Hyaluronic Acid looks like a pretty awesome product! I will definitely be checking it out...thanks for your great review! Happy Birthday :)
ReplyDeleteHappy belated Birthday!!getting older doesn't really bother me for the most part, though I do find more aches and pains that I'd rather not have. I do not try to look 20 any more, or 30 either. I'd like to look the best I can for my age and if I'd known about Yeouth products, and other products, when I was your age and used them I am sure I would have prevented some of my evidence of aging. But I do know about these type products now and I do use them faithfully. Thanks for another great review.
