What does the Easter Bunny bring to your house? I know he will be bringing all of the regular stuff like baskets of candy, 20 tons of unnecessary Easter grass, and all of the awesome fun stuff. I can say that the fun festivities of Easter are some of my favorites.
Coloring eggs, finding the ones the Easter bunny leaves behind, finding the "jackpot" egg, all of the super fun traditional stuff we have been doing since we were kids that we have added to throughout the years.
I absolutely love the stories that start with "When I was a little girl, just like you, I.....". One of the funnest was the coloring books and crayons that came in our baskets. That was a staple, along side of that was side walk chalk, bubbles, and peeps.
Crayola was a part of all of our gift giving occasions. My grandma was a school teacher and she knew what the good stuff was. It just stuck. Just like all of us, Crayola has grown right along side of us. Although coloring books and crayons are still so amazing and make our imaginations grow, the technology that comes along with it is mind blowing.
Seeing my kids laying on the floor tummy down, knees bent and feet in the air, just like when I was a little girl makes me so happy. It brings me right back to the happy carefree days. Just thinking about it makes me tear up a little. Our whole family was so young. My mom was my mom, not my kids grama. That was a life time ago, at least.
This year there will be something completely amazing in the basket. Yes it will have crayons and coloring book but with so much more life. I am sure you have heard of the movie Frozen and the legendary Star Wars. Well, Crayola brought them to life right in our living room.
The Star Wars Virtual Design Pro is so awesome and has all the tools to bring the spaceship alive is it not just a game but a whole experience.
The Frozen book also offers their new color "frostbite" that has special visual effects. This is so cool. I think I like thee just as much as my kids do.
I love the conversations that have sparked up around these coloring books. The "I Remember When..." and "Mom, did you used to??"
With the Crayola Color Alive App, the images that are colored turn into a 4D image, just as it is colored. This works with any compatible device. My iPad works just fine. I love it how the images just stand up right off of the page.

The App is so easy to use even for the kids. They love coloring the pictures and seeing what they do when they are in the Crayola Color Alive app. I highly recommend this app for all ages.
One more thought~ Could you imagine you at your childs' age~ Coloring a picture and it coming ALIVE!

Crayola has really evolved!! I love so many of their new stuff...I know that my Grandson would really like the Star Wars Virtual Design Pro...so awesome :)
