My own little guys are not so little either. 10th grade, 7th grade, 6th grade, and 4th grade. I try my best to help with my niece and nephew as much as we can especially now in this big transition in their lives.
There are so many things to get ready. They both have such completely different tastes and agendas. My niece is on the softer side where my nephew is and always has been all boy! I have been able to find one store that has everything under one roof to get them both started and to be comfortable.
Organizing is the big thing for me so I want them to be organized. Just to make it easier for them to balance he big load they have to bare coming up. I have found one store that has everything that they will need from decorating, organizing, and even furnishing their new locations.
At Home has everything I need to help them along the way.
I still can't believe they are so grown up! They are the first kids in this generation to graduate. Their are 19 cousins and the oldest are setting a great example for the younger ones. Abby is the next in line in 2 years. I really am so proud of them. Nothing has ever held them down, the just kept on trucking right on through.
There are a few collections that At Home offers that are absolutely beautiful. I love the collections on the Back To Campus section. The Blue Mood Collection design is gorgeous. The shades of blue are so nice and calming. There is everything!! Rugs, pillows,bedding, window treatments, baskets and even the room accents. I just love the whole set. My favorite Blue Mood accent is the block table top "Always Be Your #Selfie" for $5.99. That is so in expensive! I love finding awesome and unique stuff!
The Chic Free Spirit Collection has some very nice accessories and sophisticated designs. "Look for Magic In Everything You Do, Every Day". I love inspirational messages that can be put out as decoration.
The Bold Free Spirit Collection is very vibrant. I love the "Love Will Find A Way" wall Art.
The Airscape collection has such clean fresh designs and such mild designs 3 Section Plastic Sorter for Laundry is absolutely perfect for a way at collage kids. Off campus laundry mats and parents houses are where the clothes actually get washed any way. With 3 separate containers, it makes sorting so much easier. Also transporting so much easier. The taller instead of wider saves so much space.
Poptastic is really cool. The bright bold comic style of patterns is awesome. Poptastic Decorative Book Box is something that I like it wold make a great stash box for extra cash, spare keys, and other stuff.
The Femme de Luxe Collection is really pretty and girly. 7-compartment Cosmetic Organizer is a great addition to any counter space. It's nice to have all the stuff you want right there and so handy.
We went to the At Home Store today and saw so many amazing deals on so many awesome products. I had an idea of what I wanted before we got there and then I saw the amazing isles of great deals.
I had no idea of the awesome finds. We ended up leaving with a Bed In A Bag set that comes with 8 pieces. Flat sheet, Fitted Sheet, Shams, Comforter, and Dust Ruffle. That is perfect for getting started. I have always like the Bed In A Bag sets but the selection at the At Home Store was awesome. All of the colors and designs made it so hard to pick the best one. I love a variety!
We also got a hanging shelf for the closet. It has 7 sections and is just right for replacing a dressers main function. Perfect for small spaces. When the closet space is best utilized, it frees up the main floor space. I love that. I use that in my home. We recently got rid of our daughters dressers to give them more room in their bedroom.
We also got a pretty blue picture frame. It was simple but really nice. For $2.99 I couldn't pass it up.

A dorm room decor is the one time in your life when you can have completely disposable wonderful whimsical loud stuff.
