School time is in full swing. So are the extra activities. We want our kids to be safe and not have to worry about the little stuff. Abby is in marching band, Chloe is in soccer, and Niko is in football. Cassie is undecided but, it's going to either cheering or basketball. In all of those sports, what is the one common factor?
Shoes. So, what is important to shoes? Laces!
Tied shoes are very important. Making sure their laces are the right size and length for the shoes they are wearing, has never been easier. In marching Band the kids are instructed to continue to march, even if the kid in front of you falls, just don't stop.
I don't want my kid getting trampled because of the wrong laces. Keeping the shoe securely in place to keep from tripping. is very important.
To be honest, I don't know what cave I have been living in but, until now, I didn't realize there were so many options. I always thought laces just came with the shoes and if you needed a replacement pair, it was just the luck of the draw.
Until today, I thought shoelaces were all the same length except boots. You have no idea of the feeling of "WOW" I have. I mean, I'm not a complete moron, I know there are flat and round laces, I know there is little kid laces and grown up laces but, I thought that was the only variety. I always thought that there was no way to get the exact laces that came in your shoes.
Boy, I was wrong!
There are so many options when it comes to shoe laces. From length to shape, colors, patterns, and even brand specific laces. It's so cool to be able to customize your footwear with what you choose. Not just what comes with it. Or if you love what it comes with, get that. It's awesome to have options!
Back to what I was saying at the top of the post about the kids and their sports, shoe laces are very important.

Shoe laces come in all lengths and colors. Finding ones for sports shoes are the hardest.
