I have never had a house that goes through air filters this fast. We can blow through a 3-month filter in less than 1 month. It is absurd how many times we have to change our air filters. It's such a messy task and to be honest, I hate doing it.
I just had the opportunity to work with AeroStar on a review of their brands' filters and I have to say i'm impressed. When it comes to the design, there isn't anything really different that I can tell. It's a 20X20X1 filter that appears to be just like all of the other filters. But, this filter has been in for a week and still looks almost new.
These filters slide right in place with no problem, the size it is, really is it's size. There is no gaping at all. These are comparable to 3M Filtrete MPR 600 Clean Living and Honeywell Micro Defense Plus FPR 5. The price is even better. Just as a comparison, (depending on where you are shopping) the average price of the 3M filters range between $30-$36 for 6 filters; The Honeywell filters range from $52 to $56 for 6 filters; the AeroStar filters are only $26 on Amazon. That's a pretty big difference and the quality is there. I love finding deals like this.
