This is perfect for traveling. It keeps out the weather and provides an extra barrier between baby and the elements. It's breathable so the baby doesn't get hot and sweaty or uncomfortable. That's a great feature.

The shopping cart is one of the dirtiest places to put a baby but, we all do it. But thinking about it what goes in the seat of the cart? Other babies, purses, sometimes pets. I shop a lot and I see some very crazy things. 

Where does your purse go? Everywhere. Floors, hanging on bathroom stall hooks, the floor of the car, the seat of the car, pretty much everywhere. So, when I put my purse in the cart I don't think much of it. After me, a baby rides in the cart. 

Assuming the baby is without a cart cover, he is now touching everything my purse touched. And probably putting those tiny little baby hands and probably even his tiny little baby mouth on it. So, the dirt that was on my kid's shoes when they were sitting in the front seat, the whatever they say in, where ever they were sitting at school, whoever used the bathroom stall before me- unwashed hands and where ever their purse was. 

All of that makes me want to throw my purse away and get pants and jackets with bigger and more pockets. But since that's not going to happen, parents can keep the baby safe from purse dirt and other people's dirty hand's dirt, by using a cart seat cover. This an awesome barrier between the cart and baby. You know where the seat cover has been, you know how clean it is. And, you can wash it when you are done. I love that. 

Why I love the nursing cover is it gives privacy to mom and baby without being crammed in a bathroom or sitting in the car. I think breastfeeding is one of the most beautiful things in the world.  I don't mind seeing woman feed their babies in public but some people want more discretion. This gives that private time to mom and baby without having to be shamed or embarrassed.

These are a must. A serious must. Any nursing mama knows the embarrassment of your milk letting down unexpectedly. Ir even a simple dribble.

A little personal story from myself that I hope you guys can all learn from- When I went back to work after I had my first daughter I was a horrible disaster. I didn't want to leave her with a sitter because she couldn't talk. The what if's consumed me. So she went to her Grama Grama's house while I worked.

The first day back I was equipped with my breast pump and extra bottles just in case. I never knew what to expect. My boobs were a mystery to me. I made it about half way through my shift and I was washing dishes. It was no surprise to get my shirt wet but on this day, the surprise....

I turned to pick up something- I don't even remember what it was. I just felt my cold shirt touch my stomach. I didn't have a clean shirt with me and my uniform top barely fit as it was from the new bra size I was packing.  I looked down and was instantly mortified. I was soaked, Like dripping wet from boob area to the top of my apron. There was no disguising it. I had to go change.
