I love it when the girls get creative and want to decorate their rooms however they want and it looks cool. We have done paint, pictures, decals, posters, and now, Glow in the Dark- STARS! I think that's so cool.
Since the girls were babies I always told them the same little phrase.
I love ou to the moon and stars, where the aliens live and angels fly. So, a symbol that has always been near and dear to me with them is a star. I have them tattooed!!
Cass has been wanting glow in the dark stars on her walls and ceiling for awhile now, like the ones she had when she was little. With some serious searching, we found some amazing! This boxed set comes with:
200 Stars
Adhesive Putty
Mesh Pouch
Constellation Guide
It's a great way to add a little light in her room without leaving on the lamp. On another positive side, it gives her something to count while she falls asleep.
The constellation guide shows patterns to have a quick reference of the stars they love to look at.
These stars are made with twice the glow power as the old formula and can last up to 15 hours glowing. That's perfect for us! These guys will make it all night. From when she goes to bed until she has to get up, just like the stars in the sky.
I love the assorted sizes. It makes for awesome layouts and creativity. I love it because in the dark it gives it such a 3-d appearance. With the small to large stars, they look like some are closer and some are further away! It's so awesome!!
Applying the stars to the ceiling, walls, and other surfaces are really easy. Just use the putty that comes in the kit. Take a little piece and stick it to the back of the star, stick it where you want it to go, and done. When you want to take them down, just pull the star off and put it away. The mesh storage bag is the pull string style that easily keeps the stars inside. Perfect for storing all of the extra stars and putty until you need them again.
On their website, I love the idea of spelling her name in the stars. That's so cute!! We are debating on having Cassie spelled out in the stars. How cute will that be?! With 200 stars, the possibilities are endless!!!
Some of the other ideas she's had are a big star of stars and a heart of stars. These are so easy to activate too. The only way to get them to glow is exposing them to light. All it takes is 5 minutes of light to make them glow brightly.
These are an awesome addition to any room. We received these stars for free in exchange for an honest, unbiased review. If you have any questions about these stars, please feel free to reach us directly at [email protected] or [email protected]
We love hearing from you. If you are a reader with an idea or a company/brand wanting to be featured, please don't be shy!!
