What are your plans for the holiday crowd? Are you having everyone stay with you? Where is everyone going to sleep? Not counting the holidays, what about kids sleepovers or even emergency house guests? What about camping, do you have a plan for sleeping arrangements? Have you tried DiscoBed?

We are working with one of the coolest bed companies I think I have ever seen. This bed is suitable for every situation. It's portable, convertible, and even has storage. This is the coolest bed for guests or traveling. I was so torn by how I wanted to present this bed in a post, I can't go just one way with it, this bed does too much to limit it to one topic.

Family coming in for the holidays can be super stressful. We never have enough room for everyone to sleep comfortably. Really, not even just for the holidays, I have kids, they always want to have sleepovers, they end up piled up on the floor. We have wood floors, that's not comfortable. So, the big question is always, where will we put them?

This is great for the overnights in a motel and the kids want their own beds instead of sharing. Nothing like the comforts of home. On top of the other amazing features, this has a bag to make it completely manageable.

Another scenario, what happens if there is an emergency? Where will we put everyone? When I was little, my house burnt down. All the way to the ground, we had to stay in a motel for a few days but, after that, we had to stay with relatives while my parents figured it out. I'm pretty sure I slept in my gramas bed, I don't remember where my parents slept, probably on the floor. No one was prepared for that.

There are so many different reasons someone may want or need extra bedding. DiscOBed has an easy solution that works. So, now that I got my excited rant out of the way, here is the bed:

This is a bunk bed style bed that converts to two separate beds or even a bench. Both beds have storage so keeping the things you need right with you is an option. The pouch is big enough for a flashlight, book, cell phone, whatever you may need.

The bed can be used as a single bed or stacked like a bunk bed to have the same amount of space comfortably sleep twice as many people. For being functional during the day, the second bed flipped up like the back of a bench or couch,


This is so easy to put together. The carrying cases are packed neatly and everything has an elastic strap to keep it tidy. These bags are easy to manage they are approx 35 lbs each. The handles are easy to manage and are comfortable to hold.

As I was putting the bed together I had to do a mad dash into the house, the bees are still out there, so, I am apologizing but the pictures are from inside the house, well, half of them.

The posts are really easy to put together, they push right into each other and then pop into the wheels in the frame. What I like about the wheels is they make putting it together so easy. They have to slide into place and pull tight, I don't know that I would be able to do it without the wheels.


For putting the 2 beds together, it is as easy stacking. Each bed comes with 2 horseshoes on a stick, it takes 4 to make it work. They go right into the bottom posts and they sit right into the wheel edges. This is really so easy to put together.


Once all four legs are on the wheels, use the straps provided to tighten up the frames so they don't get knocked off of each other. They adjust smoothly and stay in place. When you want to take them off, just squeeze the lock to the center and the end pops off.



To make the bench, pull up one side of the frame off of the wheels. That bar will slide right behind the strap and settle in on the frame of the bottom bed. Just like that, there is couch style seat.

I love this setup. It would make a great gift to the outdoorsman and to any household. It's a great just in case item to have around the house.
