#1 Delivery

This mattress does not have to be put in a Uhaul or strapped to the top of the car and driven for 6 hours across the whole state, Mom, Dad, you can order this on Amazon with free shipping. Mine was delivered in just 4 days. UPS brings it right to the front door. 

#2 Set Up

Set Up is a piece of cake. All you have to do is take the mattress out of the box and set it on its foundation. Out of the box, it's in a vacuum sealed roll that unrolls right on the foundation. Just cut away the plastic and watch the magic happen. It starts to rise instantly.

#3 Double Pillow Top

The double pillow top is awesome for the life of the mattress. That means it can be flipped. That's not an option that I have my current mattress. It's a memory foam mattress, that I do love but, I can not flip it. With that being said, it has a butt dent all the way across it from always sitting in the same position. 

#4 Sturdy Design

The Spectra Quilted Top Plush Orthopedic Mattress has a quilted pattern and 1400  individually wrapped coils. 

#5 Size Matters 

Spectra offers this mattress in four sizes. That means that this bed is good for every occasion, not just dorms. Twin, Full, Queen,  and King. I just got the queen size for the review. This would be perfect for bunk beds, daybeds, or even just as a mattress on the floor if that's where you want to put it. It doesn't need to be on a foundation at all if you don't want it to be. 

#6 Standard Rules Apply

Even though this is a mail order mattress, don't think you have to get specialty bedding to make it work. With the event of the new bed coming, we got regular sized sheets from Honeymoon Fashion and the fit perfectly. The satin material hug the shape of the mattress just like I expected/ If I were to run and jump onto this bed, I would fly like a rocket I'm sure! Perfect!!

Our thoughts

Just a little info on our opinion of this mattress, it did take a little longer to rising/settle than the other mattress that we have but it was well worth the wait. My husband loves it. He is a horrible sleeper. His bad sleeping habits always affect me. Believe it or not, I am not as young as I used to be. I feel it all day when I don't have a restful nights sleep. It's been a long time since that happened.

Well, this bed has set off a happy chain of events that is ultimately helping the both of us. Aron is getting comfortable faster, falling asleep sooner, not tossing or turning, only waking up if he has to go to the bathroom, and sleeping longer hours. After an orthopaedic surgery, the Spectra Quilted Top Plush Orthopedic Mattress has a quilted pattern and 1400  individually wrapped coils.  

I am talking about a man that may get 2 solid hours of sleep, maybe 2 times per night and several small naps throughout the day. The first night that we had the bed, he got a solid six hours. I will never be able to express how thankful we both were for that. I have shared our history in the past but since that last surgery, almost 11 months ago, that solid 6 hours, was the first time that has happened in I don't even remember how long it has actually been.

I don't want to call out any names because the other mattress is amazing. The difference is about $600. Wow.
