Staying On Task and In Complete Focus

There are so many things to consider when you are taking on a new situation.  From college to working or even caring for your adult parents, there are so many things out there to help you along the way. You need focus and attention to stay on task.

In this post, I want to share a few ideas that have helped me get through some tough adjustment periods.

Supplements

There are so many supplements available to help with mental focus. If you decide to take a daily supplement talk to your doctor or a trusted professional to make sure there are no other interactions with current medications you may be taking. You will also want to look at the different types of supplements available to help you find the right one that suits your needs. If you're not sure which supplements are best for you, you can search for something like MCT Wellness reviews as they will be able to give you a rough idea of what various supplements contain and how they can help you.

Diet and Exercise

I know you hear it from everywhere but yes, the food and movement that you choose can directly affect your body's output. It would be amazing to be a physically fit, sleeping well, couch potato but the odds of that happening are, I don't know but I have never seen it! For me, it all starts with the foods we eat. Feeding your body right can make you feel better and healthier giving you the energy you need to get up and moving, in turn, helping your brain stay strong.

A Clear Head

It's ok to take a minute to clear your head before you tackle a task. Do whatever it is you need to do to go at it with attention. Don't bring your last attempts frustration.  Whether it is a new job, a new class, or even parenting a teenager, every situation is unique and should be handled like such.

It's okay to sit in your car for five minutes to wrap your head around the mission of the day. I do that a lot when I'm coming home. Just sit there long enough to let the song that's playing finish, gather my thoughts, or whatever it is that I need to do.

Knowledge

Making sure you have a full understanding of what you are getting yourself into is so important.  If there is something that you don't understand, research it. That's for every situation.

I've been a parent for nearly 2 decades and I still look up parenting tips. I have been a wife for 2 decades (all together) I still look up relationship advice.  I've been a blogger for almost 5 years, and I still research how to do it.

Appreciate It

It doesn't matter if it's a paying job or a volunteer work assignment,  appreciate the fact that it is your task to do. You are responsible for the outcome! Make sure you put all of your ability into it. If you yourself or your boss have entrusted you with a job to do, know they are

Do you have any steps that you take to help keep yourself on target with your daily tasks? I would love to hear them!

  1. I'm usually pretty good at staying focused. But, if I get in a bad place where I'm not eating right or sleeping well, I definitely lose focus.
