Communicating With Roses: Their Colours Convey Meaning!

Some may say, “A rose is just a rose.” But the Victorians will disagree! Because the symbolism of these blooms is still relevant today. The flower language of the Victorians back in the day was called floriography. Communicating with flowers (especially through roses) became very popular in the mid-1800s.

Back then, flowers were used in the same way we put emojis to our messages, adding tone and emotion, and more spice (and scent!) into the conversation. The right roses and emojis should be used during the perfect moment. Find the best roses here to give for the perfect occasion as you learn more about rose colors from the infographics below!

Do you remember your first bouquet of roses?

I remember the first time a date ever got me roses. It was Aron :) He was so sweet. It started out with a dozed beautifully dyed roses on his way home from work. I loved them so much that my reaction was perfect he said. From then on, every Friday on his way home from work he was on a hunt to find my the perfect dozen roses. To be honest, that was the sweetest thing anyone had ever done for me.

He was so good and saying everything he was trying to say with his cute smile and a bouquet.

For me, there is such a wonderful feeling that comes with knowing that someone is taking the time out of their busy day to get something special for me. I'm one of those people that I don't ask for anything if I can help it. I know how valuable time is and that for the most part, there just isn't enough hours in a day. For that time to be spent thinking about someone special, it's special.

I married him. Since we first met, he has always done the little things to make a difference in my day.  For our anniversary and holidays like Valentine's Day, he gets me red roses. For Mother's Day, he always goes for pink. Certain holiday's mean different colors to us.

I love this chart. It's the perfect information to make sure you are saying exactly what you want to say to the person you want to say it to.

Just think, it would be a little embarrassing to get the secretary I Love You roses when you mean to say Congratulations!
