Handmade Gifts For Mother's Day With Triton Trading Company

Mother's Day is right around the corner. Have you thought about what you are getting your mom? Ever since I was little, my mom has loved getting hand made gifts. This is coming from a woman that can do anything. She can cook, she can craft, she can even crochet! Do you think she passed any of those gifts to me? Nope, she kept them all to herself.

I am the kind of lady that can come up with great ideas and tell them to my sister so she can put it together for me. I am just not talented like that. Have you seen those slides on Facebook of Pinterest fails? That is my creativity capability all summed up? I like to think that I am crafty but, I'm not!

Since I had the opportunity to work with  Triton Paint Pens, I had a great idea for a very inexpensive gift idea that I know my mom will love and everyone in the family can get in on it! Creating unique flower pots other decorations as gifts!

What I did to give it a try is start with a ceramic flowerpot and a pack of Triton Paint Pens. Like I said before, I am not an artist but I try hard if that counts for anything.

I laid out a paper to catch any mess that I made.

When I opened the Paint Pens, each pen is individually wrapped. The directions are right on the side of each pen.
1. Shake the pen before using.
2. Press the nub several times vertically until the ink exudes.
3. Put the cap on when you are done.

Here is where I discuss my skepticism...

Ok, I have reviewed a lot of paint pens, pretty much every kind of pen. Even a metal dispensing pen for conduction and I can say, this is the first paint pen that didn't run, pool, or leak. I LOVE these pens.

What I love about pens-
Everything! That's pretty broad so I'll break it down better.

Easy to get going- These pens get writing really easy. After opening it up, it only takes pressing it down a few times to get the paint to come down to the tip.
Smooth writing- They don't skid on the writing surface. There is no skipping/stutter in the lines. It writes as smooth or smoother than a ballpoint pen.
No Mess- This just might be my favorite feature. There is no mess involved with these pens. They wright right where you want without smearing or smudging.
Fast dry- These dry faster than nail polish.
Bright colors- The colors are nice and vivid. They stand out, even on the orange flower pot, I drew on.
Layered colors without blending- I love this feature. As soon as it dries, you can draw right over it and the colors don't blend.
Multi surfaces- These write on several surface types. The pot I colored on is ceramic. Other surfaces include stone, glass, rock, metal, plastic, porcelain, canvas, and wood.

The list really goes on and on. I have been searching for other things to draw on. I love these pens so much!

If you are looking for the perfect addition to your art supply collection, Triton Paint Pens is definitely it!
