Wizards & Werewolves: A Glow-in-the-Dark Outdoor Game is on Kickstarter

What were some of your favorite parts of summertime? Just the warmth in the air can bring back memories so vivid I can smell and even taste the memories. The warm nights always made me feel so much more adventurous. When I was little we would play outside until it was so dark all we could see were the stars and lightning bugs. It was awesome!! Those lightning bugs were tricky to catch. My grama would help me make a habitat for them with a twig and grass so I could keep them on my nightstand at bedtime. She was the coolest!!

When I got older, I would sit out in my mom's car and listen to the radio on summer nights with my friends. Some of those CDs are still my favorites! Just writing about it brings a smile to my face.

A few summers ago my daughter came home talking about playing tag/hide and seek in the dark. She loved it. She can't wait to be able to play it with her cousins as soon as school is out. When I heard about Starlux Games releasing  Wizards & Werewolves: A Glow-in-the-Dark Outdoor Game I knew we had to get this game!! We had the opportunity to help announce their Kickstarter campaign debuting this month.

I received a copy of Wizards & Werewolves: A Glow-in-the-Dark Outdoor Game as a gift so I could show you guys what it's about so maybe you would want to back it. There are still spots available for backing the product and there are several levels of participation so you can check it out on their page.

What comes in the Wizards & Werewolves: A Glow-in-the-Dark Outdoor Game box?

  • 5 Wizard Armlets
  • 1 Moon Crystal
  • 4 Field Markers
  • 2 Star Crystals
  • 1 Complete Rulebook (with 3 levels of gameplay)
  • 7 Character Cards (for Game Level C, "Circle of Wizards")

Something I really like about this game is the batteries are replaceable. That means that the glow isn't gone after the first night. Endless hours of fun! Another great perk to this game is the gameplay lasts from 20-90 minutes. That's long enough to get into it and enjoy it and stay exciting the whole time.

This is great because it gets everyone up, off of their devices, and moving. This is the perfect game for all gatherings. Birthday parties, block parties, family reunions, sleepovers, or any other reason for a party is a great reason to break out the games. You can see Wizards & Werewolves: A Glow-in-the-Dark Outdoor Game in action below.

An amazing update to the Kickstarter campaign, they were completely funded in just 14 hours!! Production will be this summer and it will be shipped August 10th!! Congrats to the brand and to the pledges.

Capture The Flag is a glow in the dark game

Capture the Flag comes with the following pieces:

2 Glowing Orbs
8 Jail Markers
5 Territory lights
10 Team Bracelets
13 Game Cards

Both games together combine to make an ultimate game of glow in the dark fun. I love how highly visible the pieces are. It doesn't have to be pitch black dark outside to be able to see them.

The wrist bands only glow on the head of them so if the length is too long, the can be cut down or worn above the elbow to prevent slippage.
