Being a kid is all about making memories, messes, and noise. Lots and lots of noise. Music is such an important part of it. I'm almost 40 years old and music is a huge part of my life. I made music on everything when I was little. Anything could be drums. Anything could be a guitar. And just in case the moment doesn't still strike you, if it fits in your hand, EVERYTHING is a microphone. Sing until your heart is happy and it's okay if you don't know all the words, ad-lib it!!
When I was little, my mom played the piano all of the time. She would be doing house chores and just take a pit stop at the piano and play it for a few minutes. She numbered the keys with masking tape and a marker, got easy sheet music for beginners, and taught my older sister and me to play.
When I was old enough, I joined the orchestra and started playing the cello. It was amazing!! I didn't pursue music after school but I always have the radio, YouTube, or one of a million and one CDs playing. Yes, I still own CDs.
When it came to my kids, it's just natural for them to love music. At any given moment, our house is a musical. Why talk when you can sing and choreograph?! Why talk your own words when there is a song that has already said it? Our youngest daughter will dance her way into our room and dance her way out. If a commercial comes on, she's dancing to the beat.
There is no reason to wait until 3rd grade for the wonderful recorder to come home in your kids' backpack. Start them out early with the Blipblox Toy Synthesizer. They can play and create so many amazing sounds with the buttons and knobs on it. It's preloaded with sounds and melodies to make just your very own.
This is the first of it's kind and it's suitable for all ages! From early beginners, at 3-year-olds all the way to adult professionals the Blipblox ($189) is an amazing tool in creating electric music. Not everyone wants to make music with a traditional instrument. Electric music is amazing too!
Check out the introduction to the Blipbox. This quick video shows it all!!
Each of its 18 buttons, levers, and knobs does something different. That is so much interaction and hands-on playtime. Personally, I have never know what the buttons and knobs do on a synthesizer. For me to pick up and play with it, I would be at the same level as a 3-year-old. I don't know what all of the buttons and names mean. BlipBlox broke it down so easily by colors for everyone to understand.
You may be thinking all of that is so awesome but what does my kid do with it? How do they play with it? Isn't something like this too advanced for a little guy? Those were my initial thoughts. They went the extra step to show specific directions for the signals too.
All of the buttons, knobs, and levers work together fun endless hours of open-ended fun. I don't mean open-ended for their childhood but open-ended for a lifetime! It's so lightweight that is can be traveled with very easily.
One thing that parents always ask, yes, there is a volume control! That means they can play where ever they are. They can jam out or keep it low!
Check out Blipblox on their website and social media for their latest updates and deals!
