Stretcheez Play Food Is Like Nothing You Have Ever Seen!!

How early do you introduce your kids to food prep and creativity options? I honestly think it depends on the maturity of the child. Introducing toys and pretend food, that's a whole different story. When we were kids we played with clay, dough, paper, and all kinds of pretend food. Pretty much anything that looked like food we could pretend with. Imagination goes a long way!

That's why I think you should check out Stretcheez from Thin Air Brands. This is so different from anything I've ever played with and it's SO MUCH FUN. Stretcheez is a play food that comes in kits that are familiar because of the way they look. The packaging looks like something you would find in the stores that look like real food items. My niece Aliyah stopped by for a while yesterday and she got to check them out with me. She played with them all night! It was a blast! She was making her own recipes of burgers, hot dogs, burritos, and pizza.

What makes Stretchiez different from other play/pretend foods

We all know what the go-to play foods are like. I don't like comparing products unless it's necessary, since Stretcheez is so new to me and nothing quite like anything I've ever experienced, I have to compare to an extent for the shopper's point of view and what to expect. At least, explain what it is not like since I don't have anything to compare what it is like.

Simply put, you will be so surprised!

Just so we are all clear, I'm not in any way knocking the things I am comparing to. I love these kinds of products especially since they are all appropriate for different age groups. If this was a round-up post, I would be happy to share about all of them but again, it's nothing at all like Stretchiez and these are the things I think of when I think of pretend play food.

It's not like the pretend grocery store hard plastic foods in the shape of food or like clay/dough pretend foods that are limitless when it comes to the imagination but they are solid chunks, lack realistic visual appearance, they dry out if they are left out too long, and it can make a mess. Stretcheez do have a similar texture as those slappy hand things that come out of the egg-shaped container dispenser at the grocery store and restaurants (do they still even make those?).

Stretcheez on the other hand offers premade shapes of food, visually, nearly identical to real food, does not dry out or crumble off, it doesn't make a mess at all. The pieces stick together to make the perfect layers and peel apart without a mess or breakage. Did I mention NO MESS?

I received these four kits for review Burger, Hot Dog, Pizza, and Burrito. Each of them has its own ingredients but, they are all interchangeable. They are all made of the same material and can be used with each other. Each and every single one of them is so realistic visually and so fun to play with.

If you are looking for a fun and clean way to let your kids play with food and be able to express themselves and share their favorite dishes with you, Stretchiez is a great way to go.

I received these products for free as a gift to facilitate this review. If you have any questions please feel free to email me directly.
