Fun Activities You Can Do This Easter

It can be challenging to think of fun Easter activities for kids, especially if you’re on a budget or they’re bored of the same activities every school holiday.

This is why we have put together a list of some of the fun activities you could do this Easter with your kids:

Bake Goodies

Is Easter really Easter without a goodie or two? So, why not do some egg-cellent baking this Easter? On top of learning new cooking skills, your kids will have a great time taste testing their creations. You could even do a mini bake-off or bake sale and raise money for a charity.

Get Active

Some of the greatest Easter activities for kids involve sports, games, and other outdoor activities. And with all the extra Easter treats, extra activity is essential to work off the extra energy. Playing sports doesn’t mean you need to buy expensive equipment, there are many activities you can do for free such as building an obstacle course in the garden or playing a ball game with the whole family.

Get Creative

Let your kids’ creativity come out with some easy, cheap, and fun Easter crafts. From painting eggs to making Easter bonnets there’s no limitation when it comes to the Easter theme. You don’t have to make it all about Easter either you could try building a castle or robots out of cardboard boxes, so, you may want to start collecting boxes now!

Spring Clean And Hold A Yard Sale

This is the most common time of the year for having a deep clean and sort out. Encourage your children to get involved by clearing out their bedrooms and helping with shared family spaces. Ask them to choose some toys, books, teddies, etc that they no longer use or need and hold a yard sale. The money they raise could go towards helping them buy Super Wings transforming Jerome, new books, or go into their piggy bank. Not to mention the extra pocket money they could earn from the additional cleaning tasks.

Create An Easter Egg Hunt

This is a classic Easter activity for kids and is one of the most fun things you can do. Hide a number of eggs, bunnies, and Easter candies around the house or garden and challenge the kids to hunt them down. You could think about leaving a number of clues or creating a treasure map that leads to a pile of Easter treasure at the end. It may sound simple, but it can lead to hours of fun.

Put On A Show

Why not get their creative juices flowing even more by challenging them to write and perform their own Easter play? It’s a brilliant way to keep them occupied if you need a little bit of time to yourself. They will love performing for you and you will enjoy watching. Find a dedicated space that they can turn into a staging area and encourage them to make use of props such as using cardboxes. You may even find that it uses time up on more than one day is they ant to paint and build any props for their performance.
