Little Kernel Popcorn Family Movie Night Must Have!
Family time is so much fun. It's so important too. Everyone has their own schedules and we just don't get to do the quality fun stuff that we want to do a lot of the time. One thing that we can count on is Family Movie Night.
What we do is a few days in advance, we decide on a an awesome movie, dinner, and the snacks we will have during our movie time. This week we have some special snacks. We got to work with The Little Kernel. This is a gluten-free, non-GMO, dairy-free, kosher and certified with whole grains, snack. That is something I can feel good about feeding them.
So, dinner, of course is Taco Tuesday. We never have "Taco Tuesday" on Tuesday. It's any day of the week but the kids ask for it like its a meal. Instead of asking for taco's they ask for Taco Tuesday. It's really cute and it's stuck for a few years now. Honestly, I hope they don't change that.
The movie is going to be a pay-per-view and the snack, The Little Kernel popcorn. They sent us quite a selection. That's awesome because we all have different taste bro's. I am going to give the whole run down :)
Naked No Salt Added
Truffle Sea Salt
Sweet & Salty
Pink Himalayan Salt
These are perfect flavor options. It's everything that we look for in snack options all in one place. As a mom and main food provider of the family, I love this and I'm going to tell you why.
My kids like sweet snacks and salty snacks but I know it's not great for them. Moderation is definitely key but flavor and texture play into the mix. This popcorn covers all of the snack requirements. It takes away the food cravings and totally satisfies the need to have more or different snacks later.
This is not a greasy or heavy treat. I have made popcorn that leaves such a thick coating on my tongue and throat that I just don't want anything else but water and a toothbrush. This is so tender and fluffy but it's not chewy. It's the perfect bite of popcorn, I am more than impressed.
This pop corn is popped in 100% olive oil.
