Simple Instructions

Set up

Set up is super simple. Place the quartered sections together by their pop together pieces. Any random order will work. When they are put together, they will make a ring.

Take the cards and shuffle them. When you are done, deal them out evenly among the players so you all have an even amount.

Add an acorn into each slot of the ring. Starting the game with one of each color.

Pick a character from the character cards.

Playing the game

Start the game, youngest to oldest. Flip the cards one at a time until you see a match card. When a match card is played, the player's race to get the color matched acorn.

Replace the acorn with a random color of acorn and continue with the cards. Keep playing until the acorns are all gone.

The player with the most acorns wins the game.

This game takes less than 15 minutes from set up to completely done. The more experienced players can get it done even faster. I love hearing the giggles of the acorn grabbing. This came promotes so much more than color recognition and motor skills. It gives kids memories and lets them experience hands-on, unplugged fun.
